Raccoons - clever, dextrous, notorious for their love of garbage. They’re both. incredibly resourceful and full of personality.
This piece is thrown on the wheel from white stoneware, then dipped in black slip which gives a layered, atmospheric quality to its color. I carve the image by hand, and added gold luster features to enhance the movement of the slip on the piece.
This mug holds 6-8 fl ounces. Hand wash only.
