This mug is a second because the glaze has crawled near the bottom. This doesn’t affect the functionality of the mug, but the glaze doesn’t have a smooth finish - it’s a little lumpy and you can see the tiny cracks as pictured.
This one of a kind piece is thrown on the wheel from white stoneware, then dipped in black slip and hand carved into. The Raven is a messenger bird traversing between the realm of the gods and humankind, flying through the winter night on silent wing.
This mug is microwave and dishwasher safe.
