Opossums are the only marsupial native to the Americas, and full of personality. They’re nocturnal and extremely curious, and I don’t know if you’ve ever seen one waddling away from you but they’re very cute.
Opossum is thrown on the wheel from white stoneware, then dipped in black slip which gives a layered, atmospheric quality to its color. I carve the image by hand and adorn this unique composition with luster components.
This piece holds 14 fl ounces. Please note, luster is not microwave safe, it is gold, and therefore metal. Be safe when using your pieces. Hand wash or wash occasionally in the top rack of the dishwasher to preserve the luster finish.
