This mug is slightly discounted because there is a small indentation in the bottom of the piece, which happened because it was placed on stilts during the firing. This does not affect. the functionality of the piece, but is visually noticeable.

This one of a kind piece is thrown on the wheel from white stoneware, then dipped in black slip and hand carved into. I distress the slip, let it run, and embrace the individuality of each piece. Painted gold luster adorns the piece, highlighting the details of the image and the irregularities of the slip.

This mug holds 8 fl ounces comfortably.

Please note, luster is not microwave safe. Hand wash or wash occasionally in the top rack of the dishwasher to preserve the luster.
